4x4OUTDOOR ADVENTURE & FAMILY FUN DAY Summerhill Prep School in Hazyview will be hosting it's 12th Annual 4x4 Adventure and Family Fun Day on 4 June 2011. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever and the event has attracted more exciting and valuable prizes than before, including the opportunity for one lucky competitor to go home with a set of 4 new tyres, sponsored by Supa Quick. The winner will be drawn at the prize-giving, allowing everyone a chance to win, regardless of how they do in the competition! The new course designer has all sorts of tricks up his sleeve to make the event more challenging than in previous years and to put the competitors through their paces. And all the usual events remain as well – the blindfold challenge, the show stopper, the ladies event and, of course, the Windhoek Beer Tent with Big Screen Rugby. THE BIG INDUNA MOUNTAIN BIKE CLASSIC After missing out on the Big Induna Mountain Bike Race in 2010 we are hungry to bring you the Biggest and Best Race ever! Event consists of a 10km Valencia Fun Ride, a 45km First Ascent Half Marathon and a 75km and 120km First Ascent Marathon/Ultra Marathon. The photographers of Action Photo will be taking photos along the route and mountain bikers will be able to buy photos from their website within 48 hours of the event. The Big Induna will also be covered on TV. The Big Induna is an SAS Friendly Event. |
