Shishangeni Camp Shonga (a satellite camp of Shishangeni Private Lodge) is situated on a 15,000 hectare private concession of the Kruger National Park. This legendary wildlife reserve has the deserved reputation for showcasing some of the finest game viewing on the continent.

Camp Shonga is a small intimate bush retreat built in the foothills of the Lebombo Mountains, offering views over the African bushveld. The emphasis of the camp is on nature without losing the luxury and superior service guests are accustomed to. View the big game from open vehicles or from the comfort of your room. Afterwards, dine on traditional cuisine around a roaring boma fire under the stars of the African sky.

Five individual tents (accommodating 10 guests), all luxuriously equipped with en-suite bathrooms and ball and claw baths, outside shower, fans, fireplace and private game-viewing deck with recliner chairs and umbrella.  Wander up to the main area and laze in the charming open lounge area, or dine and sip drinks on a spacious wooden deck as the game meander past. A splash pool makes for relief between safari activities.
